[Interview @aroundtheborders] Traveling with Globber Scooters

Globber: Why did you choose to travel on Globber scooters?
Jan & Clea: Before we started our adventure in South America, we were traveling with different scooters that we bought in a sports shop in the Czech Republic. They lasted only less than two months until they broke. After this experience, we decided to do proper research about a scooter brand that would fulfill our needs. We got in touch with Globber scooters, and we are very happy with this choice.

Globber: How long have you been traveling on Globber’s adult scooters?
Jan & Clea: We have been traveling over a year using our Globber scooters. So far, they took us to ten countries in South America and in Europe. Our way of traveling is a combination of scootering for short and middle distances and hitching for long distances. It’s hard to count miles in total; we use it every day, but if our destination is less than 10 miles, we usually choose our Globber scooters as a way of transport.

Globber: What features of Globber scooters impressed you the most during the trip?
Jan & Clea: We are not ordinary users of kick scooters. Our expectations are much higher. We are scootering every day, on all kinds of surfaces, rain or shine, and both scooters are carrying our heavy backpacks with full gear inside.

The durability of Globber scooters is definitely the most impressive. We’ve been traveling this way for more than a year without any maintenance at all. The folding system is very handy when we got a ride from someone, we fold our scooters in just a few seconds, and they can easily fit inside any car. The rear break is also perfectly designed. We don’t have to worry when scootering downhill and burning our shoes like it was happening with our previous scooters.

Globber: Can you share an event during your travels where Globber scooters helped to save the day?
Jan & Clea: One day, we were scootering on the edge of the town near to Amazon in Ecuador. There was a group of young locals who spotted us and tried to get closer while shouting at us. Thanks to our scooters, we managed to escape. We are sure we would get robbed that day if we walk. Just imagine a young couple, with backpacks and nice looking scooters. That sounds like an easy target for robbers, but paradoxically the way we travel and the way we look on our scooters might stop people from robbing us.

Globber: Would you recommend your friends to travel with Globber scooters?
Jan & Clea: Definitely yes, and we know about several people who already bought their Globber scooter. They saw us online or met us in person. The reasons are simple; we’ve been happily scootering for quite some time with our scooters, and they exceeded all our expectations. We can confidently say that Globber scooters are top scooters that offer high quality for affordable prices.
